The concept works but it need a bit more of polish here and there. (I undestand that it's a 24H game and that it's a limitation itself) In my first playthough I didn't get it, I did in the second, after reading the instruccions and context, so:
A short text with the controls at the beggining would ne nice (At my first, I though I had to make many short clicks instead of holding and relasing for example, so my heart was moving weirdly)
I bumped in the black hearts really quickly maybe that was one me for, moving the heart weirdly, but I'd suggest to decrease the number of them at the start and add more and more as time pass on.
I would get rid of the screen reload when you get hit, it make it seems like a restart and I thing it's not the narrative of the game to get hit an start again but, to get hit and continue going on in the same hostil space till you break up and grow up the courage to override the spikes for yourself.
Grafics (but the epilepsy ending) and sounds are fitting the theme, so thumbs up.

Me say:
Sure.
When you get hit, the screen turns red and you get relocated at the center of the stage. That makes the impression that you have lost the level and have to start over (when actually it the thing that was supossed to happen) so, if there was just the red thing but not being relocated, it will be make a sense of continuity rather than a retry.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I wanted to have minimal text but I agree that I might make the controls clearer at the beginning. I didn't get the part about the reload screen if you can elaborate :)

I read you are looking for feedback so here I go.
First must have (and I mean it): you need to set a key to restart the game, I get my hands set in the keyboard to play and I need to move each time I die to get the mouse, click restart, remove the cursor of my way and put hands in position again, it slow down the replay feature a lot and its annoying.
I passed the tutorial phase after a few tries, it is not THAT hard but its the tutorial, is supossed to be easy-peasy level to get adjusted to the controls, maybe take a look on that.
A skip tutorial button, once I knew the controls I want to get to the real challenge right away.
An autocollect diamonds feature, I mean, I can't stop to pick them, its kinda frustating blow up an enemy and see your reward being left behind.
I don't get the "buy lifes" option because, it'not like I can get 300 diamonds before wasting all my lifes unless I already mastered the game.
The rocket movement is's kinda a game breaker If I managed to get to a high spot I double jump and hit space untill I get to a new plataform, double jump, and rocket again, I kinda could skip all the levels with a bit of practice and this.

Little suggestions:
- Make the first levels slowers and get them faster gradually.
- Add some catchy music
- Make the spikes backs unharmful, the back of a spike shouldn't be able to hit me, the spiky thing is the danger, hehe

Hmm it's true hahaha I need to change the level generator xD I want some phonk music for the game but i don't know if it's the right genre for this

I heard this page was cool so here I am cheking it.
